Hello and thank you for visiting!
I love seeing the beauty around us and I love capturing it in photographs. Being there and being part of it as it happens makes me happy. I try to record those moments to share with others to allow them to see those moments too, to see the beauty, to feel happy. That is why I get up before sunrise and before everyone else. At those morning hours the world can be yours almost anywhere. That is why I stay late after most kick back and relax on the couch. Blue hour and night light can be magical! That is why I head out into the crisp morning air when temperatures drop below 0°F while others turn their thermostats up. That is why, and that is how.
Photography has been my passion for years and I would like to share some of it with you on these pages. Living in Buffalo, New York, I call Western New York my home region. As such, that is where most of my photographs are from. I specialize in natural landscapes and cityscapes, however, also enjoy exploring the world of patterns, textures, abstracts.
Beyond Western New York, I like travel photography and the travel that comes with it. In the last few years, road trips and road trip photography got the better of me and I love searching for photo opportunities all along the way. I like letting the road pull me years and decades back into times gone by. That is where some classics like Route 66 play a very special role.
You will find all of my photos in the Gallery section of the site: Buffalo Cityscapes - Buffalo & Western New York Landscapes - Landscapes Faraway - Seascapes - Abstracts & Patterns - Animals & Plants - Travel Photography.
There are also special collections available under the Collections menu. Buffalo in Blue is a selection of photographs taken in and around Buffalo during the morning and evening blue hours (dawn and dusk). World without Color is a collection of my black and white photographs, and aMazing Buffalo Bookmarks features 7" x 2" paper bookmarks with a photograph on one side and a unique maze on reverse. Feel free to browse the other themed collections too: Bridges of Buffalo - Subway - Buffalo Metro Rail - Autumn - Winter - On the Road - Abstract Refractography.
To date, my work has been used by various charitable organizations, schools, outdoor clubs, the National Park Service, architectural firms, and individuals. Two of my photographs are on display in the Greece Ridge Mall in Rochester, NY as 20+ foot murals. Several local companies have selected a handful of my photographs to decorate their walls. My photographs also appeared in the 2012 - 2016 Buffalo Niagara Calendar.
In today's world, it would be a long list to let you know what products with my photographs are available for the walls of your home, your office, or presents for others. There are the time proven photographic prints on regular photo paper. You can buy them on their own or matted and framed ready to hang, your choice. I can also recommend the gallery wrap canvas prints. I prefer those unframed with the picture wrapped around the frame and to the back. Whether prints or gallery wraps, natural landscapes and cityscapes look their best in large size. Usually, the larger the better. Make sure the photographs do not get lost on your walls.
Other products directly available through my website are: standout displays, vivid metal prints, coasters, mugs, mouse pads, cutting boards, postage stamps, and wall mount and desk stand fotoflots. However, those are just the ones I have already preset. If you do not see what you would like to get, please, let me know and I would be happy to work on a custom solution for you.
Please, browse around and let me know what you think by signing my Guestbook, leaving comments on the photos, or sending me an e-mail.
