Abstract photography, and all abstract art for that matter, provides an escape from reality, an opportunity for imagination and interpretation. A chance to get lost in thought. That is what I like about both looking at abstract art and about creating it.
This was a very windy morning on the shore of Lake Erie. The grass in the sand dunes caught my eye as it was being whirled around by the both steady wind and even stronger gusts. It was like the wind was playing with the grass. I tried to carry that feeling into this still photograph. Can you feel the wind?
