Painted by Wind
The beaches of Lake Erie are more captivating to me in winter than in summer. I really like it when the lake is fully frozen and its surface is just a vastness of ice and snow. I also like how the wind pushes the forming ice and snow to the shore and creates mounds of snow resembling volcanoes, only made of snow and ice. I also enjoy looking for close ups screaming winter.
For this scene, winter provided the snowy canvas and wind did the painting. And wild it went! All these curves and shapes and patterns and textures and colors. If you asked me for an opinion, it's a masterpiece!
