Wind Mill Power Substation at Sunset, Western New York

Wind Mill Power Substation at Sunset, Western New York

The stark silhouette of the power substation was screaming to be photographed when I saw it against the wild colorful sunset sky. Wind mill electricity became rather popular in Western New York over the last few years and you can see wind mills rising all around. Despite their environmental benefits they rise controversy. When you ask different people about how they feel about the looks of wind mills some love seeing them at the ridge tops, others hate them.

Could you get anyone to say they like a substation? After all, you can't have wind mill power without these.Despite that, I believe there can be beauty found in them!
