It is unusual for Buffalo and its parks not to have much snow throughout December. Yet, for almost the whole month there was no snow on the ground at all. Just before Christmas, we got a few inches to make things look pretty, and the resorts down south got even more to make skiers happy.

On my Christmas Day walk in the Chestnut Ridge Park I intended on looking for some details expressing the gentle winter we are having so far.

Right at the very beginning, this rock with a hat made of snow caught my attention. And look, from the other side, it is not just a hat, it is a whole face! Snowman's made of snow, Rockman would be made of rocks, thus Snowrock Man. Now is the Showrock Man crying? I think it was from happiness!
