Bridge across Bubbly Waters
All of the stone work in the Chestnut Ridge Park always catches my eye. Such wonderful craftsmanship so beautifully complementing the natural beauty all around. Look at this bridge and think of how this view would look with metal railing, or worse, metal guard rails.
I hope as much as possible of the stonework in the park ends up being maintained and preserved. Couple other bridges on the loop were recently repaired with a good compromise between cost, longevity, and esthetics. Thank you, Erie County!
Photographed with a 35mm Nikon N75 camera and AF Nikkor 28-105 D lens on Kodak Portra 400 color negative film, home developed in 7-months old slightly expired C-41 chemistry.
