Deep red sky after a sunset over Lake Erie at the mouth of Eighteen Mile Creek, New York (NY).

Past Sunset over Lake Erie

The sun has set and darkness started consuming everything around. But before the western sky darkened, it soaked in the last rays of sun and burst with these saturated reds. In my opinion, people can only try to put on a show like this but no fireworks can really match this show of Mother Nature.

This is photographer at the mouth of the Eighteen Mile Creek where it empties into Lake Erie. It is about 20 minutes from Buffalo and it's a truly beautiful area that nature reshapes constantly. The beach at the mouth seems to move around by tens of yards between my visits, I never know what to expect there.
