A wonderful end of the day on Hamburg Beach, with sun setting far in the distance over Lake Erie and leaving subtle colors behind in the open sky, with some clouds completing the image as if a jagged interlocking gate opened up a bit to see the show.

Hamburg Beach, a very nice sandy beach on the shore of Lake Erie in Hamburg Town Park, Hamburg, NY. The park also includes a boat launch and a year-round fitness center. And in winter, it becomes a launch pad for ice fishing expeditions - that is during solid winters when the lake freezes solid and turns into a frozen tundra. In 1914, Locksley Park Company donated this land to the Town of Hamburg for its citizens recreational use.
