One of the remaining old stone well houses in Chestnut Ridge Park, Orchard Park, New York. Most of them are in disrepair and probably won't survive much longer, which is too bad. This one and a few others are still faring relatively well. This one features a fairy-land mossy roof.

Why lost? Because I lost its location for a while and had to find it again. On a fast paced walk sometimes it's enough to lose the watchful eye for a minute and one blows right by it.

Photographed with a 35mm Nikon N75 camera and AF Nikkor 28-105 D lens on Kodak Portra 400 color negative film, home developed in 7-months old slightly expired C-41 chemistry.
