St. Vitus Door, Wine Tannin Toned Cyanotype
One of many beautiful doorways of the St. Vitus Cathedral, an original hand-made 5" x 7" cyanotype print from Prague, Czech Republic.
This version lacks the traditional blue cyanotype tones as it has been bleached and toned in wine tannin, providing the print with a different vintage look.
Photographed with a 35mm Nikon FE camera on Fomapan 400 black and white negative film.
Chemically printed on a hand-coated watercolor paper (Shizen Design Professional Grade Cold Press 100% Recycled) using the cyanotype process invented in 1842.
