Hopping Down the Steps, Rose River Falls Trail, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.

Hopping Down the Steps

Hiking the Rose River Falls Trail with a photographer can get frustrating very quickly and for the whole duration. The small river offers waterfalls and cascades almost every step of the way and especially in the fall, the colorful foliage contrasting the pure white water looks gorgeous!

Shenandoah National Park was established in December 1935. It's main and unique feature is a 105-miles long Skyline Drive along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia offering views of the Shenandoah Valley to the west and Piedmont Plain to the east.
