It was a cold and windy Monday night on Buffalo's Canalside in late November. The lights were bright all around and holiday decorations too, adding to the beautiful waterfront mood. There were not too many people on the ice, however, the extended 3-second exposure blurred out the few that were skating around resulting in this seemingly people free photograph.

This year, the ice opened on November 23. The grand opening happened just last year on December 18, 2014 and introduced one of many new public areas in Buffalo to enjoy.
