A favorite castle of mine, the Pernštejn castle embodies the medieval feel, at least as I imagine it. t's a fairly large castle, even though not the largest one by any means. It's also one offering a fairly complex structure. I have always admired it for the bridge connecting its main quarters to the complex looking tower too. Pernštejn is also a raw looking castle looking like a medieval castle should, right? The castle also has several authencil looking courtyards finishing its magnificent presence.

While the early history of Pernštejn is not well documented its origins probably date back to the late 13th century and the Lords of Medlov.
