Colors of Mission Santa Ines, Solvang, California

An angle capturing the chapel and the arcade with a balcony on top at the Santa Ines Mission in Solvang, California. The foggy morning made for nice reduced contrast and even illumination of the beautiful historic building.

Old Mission Santa Inés was founded in 1804 by Father Estévan Tapís as the 19th of Spain's 21 Franciscan missions in Alta California. It was built to evangelize the local Chumash people.
