Chapel Door, Santa Ines Mission, Solvang, California

Another black and white minimalistic view of the gorgeous rustic door of the chapel at Santa Inés Mission in Solvang, California.

Old Mission Santa Inés was founded in 1804 by Father Estévan Tapís as the 19th of Spain's 21 Franciscan missions in Alta California. It was built to evangelize the local Chumash people.
Today, it stands as a preserved National Historic Landmark and an active parish church operating right alongside Solvang's historic Danish-themed community.
