Winter Shelter
A shack on a snowy beach filled with driftwood and end-less whiteness of frozen Lake Erie to the right, with the shoreline mounds of snow creating a barrier line. I like that in this perspective the cabin seems to offer hope and shelter from the winter conditions, rather than depicting desolation and hopelessness.
Photographed with a vintage 35mm Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F camera and a 28mm SMC Takumar f/3.5 lens on Ultrafine Xtreme UFX 400 black and white film, developed in D-23.
