The beautiful colors of fall at South Branch Smoke Creek as it flows out of Green Lake, rushes down a waterfall, and enters the woods. Not only can you see fall in the colors you can also feel it in the air. There is a kick to it, a bit on the chilly side. So you just stand at the top and stare into the distance to soak it in and remember it for the long winter that is just around the corner.

Green Lake is in the Yates Park, Orchard Park, New York, just a few miles south of Buffalo, NY. The lake, the park, and some surrounding land were donated to Orchard Park by a local businessman Harry Yates at the beginning of the twentieth century.
