A panoramic view of the Erie Basin Marina and the Buffalo waterfront and downtown with sunrise colors in the sky. While the sun rose quite a bit outside of this photo to the right (south), its warm glow gave the sky and clouds beautiful warm tones.
The wide format here allowed to capture the view from the observation tower on the left with the Waterfront Place living at center just across the marina, Pasquale Condominiums, and then downtown buildings off to the right, including the Buffalo City Hall and the Liberty Building among others.
Erie Basin Marina is one of many great spots on Buffalo's waterfront, providing for boat watching, sunsets across the lake, and storms arriving from the west can be spectacular. When you tire of the lake views, turn around and see the beauty of architecture!

municipal government of the city of Buffalo.
Liberty Building is the fifth tallest building in Buffalo. It was built in 1925 in neoclassical style and is 345 feet and 23 stories tall. It has two towers at its east and west sides, each with a replica of the Statue of Liberty on their pyramid shaped tops.
