Historic Edward M Cotter fireboat entering the scene on Buffalo River by the River Fest Park during the 125th anniversary of the arrival of this gorgeous and oldest working fireboat that we have the privilege of having right here in Buffalo, NY.

The fireboat's arrival in Buffalo not only predated any type of digital imaging, it dates back to the times shortly after the invention of 35mm film. Thus it felt appropriate to document the day's celebration using just that medium.

Photographed with a 35mm Nikon FE2 and a 24mm f/2.8 lens fitted with an orange filter on Agent Shadow 400 black and white negative film, home developed in D-23 developer.
