Historic Edward M Cotter fireboat coming on scene on Buffalo River by the River Fest Park during the 125th anniversary of the arrival of this gorgeous and oldest working fireboat that we have the privilege of having right here in Buffalo, NY.

The fireboat's arrival in Buffalo not only predated any type of digital imaging, it also predated the invention of 35mm color film. Still, it felt more appropriate to document the day's celebration using that medium.

Photographed with a 35mm Minolta Maxxum 5 and a 50mm f/1.4 lens on Kodak Max 400 color negative film, home developed in Cinestill C-41 developer.
