Illuminated Peace Bridge against Sunset Sky connecting Buffalo, NY, USA and Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada over the Niagara River.

Illuminated Peace Bridge against Sunset Sky

Looking northwest the post sunset sky provides a nice backdrop for the blue illumination of the bridge. It's a show of lights and color both natural and manmade.

Peace bridge forms an international border crossing between the cities of Buffalo, NY on the US side and Fort Erie on the Canadian side. It bridges the Niagara River as it flows out of the northeast side of Lake Erie. The bridge has two sections. A through-truss span over the Black Rock Canal, and five arched spans over the Niagara River. Peace Bridge is 5,800 feet (1,768 meters) long. It opened to public in 1927.
