Illuminated Peace Bridge at Dusk with a reflection of the bridge and lights in the Niagara River below. Connects Buffalo, NY, USA and Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada.

Illuminated Peace Bridge at Dusk

Looking southwest at the illuminated Peace Bridge at Dusk, the light and color in the sky have faded and the illumination along with the bridge and bridge lights reflecting in the Niagara River below stand out brightly.

Peace bridge forms an international border crossing between the cities of Buffalo, NY on the US side and Fort Erie on the Canadian side. It bridges the Niagara River as it flows out of the northeast side of Lake Erie. The bridge has two sections. A through-truss span over the Black Rock Canal, and five arched spans over the Niagara River. Peace Bridge is 5,800 feet (1,768 meters) long. It opened to public in 1927.
