Burner Barn, Luray Valley Museum

Burner Barn, Luray Valley Museum

Burner Barn, a beautiful barn from the 1860s, built by Israel Burner on his Shenandoah River farm in Overall, VA.

The Luray Valley Museum shares a parking lot with Luray Caverns and several other attractions conveniently located at a single location (The Car and Carriage Caravan Museum, Toy Town Junction, The Stonyman Mining Company Gem Sluice, The Garden Maze, Rope Adventure Park). After visiting the caverns this is a great place to spend some time mostly outside. You will time travel back to the 1800s and have an opportunity to slow down and think about the lifestyle comparison. See if you can soak the whole place in without peeking at your cell phone!
