Riverside House, Niagara-on-the-Lake
A charming riverside house on the Niagara River in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.
Niagara-on-the-Lake was established in 1779 and was originally called Butlersburg. It was renamed to Newark in 1792 and became the first capital of Upper Canada, a province that later became Ontario. In 1797 the name was changed to Niagara and finally in 1861 the "-on-the-Lake" was added.
