The Harbor House Hotel, Niagara-on-the-Lake
The Harbor House Hotel, an eye-catching hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.
Niagara-on-the-Lake was established in 1779 and was originally called Butlersburg. It was renamed to Newark in 1792 and became the first capital of Upper Canada, a province that later became Ontario. In 1797 the name was changed to Niagara and finally in 1861 the "-on-the-Lake" was added.
