Western Sky at Sunrise over Buffalo Main Light
At sunset, we tend to look west and at sunrise, we tend to look east. Right? But many times, the color parade is happening in both directions and occasionally just in the less obvious one.
This particular morning, the cloud cover was rather heavy and the eastern sky never burst into color. There was just a hint of it low on the horizon but that was hidden behind the Buffalo skyline.
On the other hand, the western sky over the Buffalo Main Light and Lake Erie had some subtle pinks rolling around for a brief few minutes. I must add that the photo here does not do it justice. Being there in person was just so much better!
Have fun enjoying the rises and sets and remember to look in both directions just in case the show got moved!
