Winter Winding Down, Looking forward to Color

Birch trees and a mountain house with a view, Green Mountains, Vermont (VT).House in the Mountains It's late March and my photographic mind is split between two worlds. On one hand, I would like to take advantage of the extended winter season to capture a few more white scenes before they disappear. On the other, I am really looking forward to warm weather and colors coming back to the landscapes.

To satisfy my excitement about colors, I have been reviewing my photographs from years past that I never got to process and share.

One of them is the photo on the right from last August when I spent a week in the Green Mountains not far from Stowe, VT. It was a beautiful sunny summer day with white puffy clouds traveling across the sky. It was a wonderful day to be outside, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and to capture the moments with my camera for later enjoyment.

Have fun capturing the signs of spring!
