The snowfall finally shifted a little bit north and made its way to Orchard Park, NY. It was time to do two things. First, I found my winter clothes, packed up my camera gear, and headed to the Chestnut Ridge Park to witness nature's clean up operation. All of the gray chaos got covered up under a layer of snow and all of a sudden, everything looked so much cleaner, simpler, better.
I did not head out at random, I had the location in mind since my last visit. However, there was not snow back then and I only had my wide angle zoom with me. I was not able to make the photograph I had in my mind. This time, I came prepared with the tools necessary for materializing the image.

Oh, and what was the other thing I had to do? Give my home page a new look. It was time to follow the natural cycle and set the colorful images of the fall aside, replacing them with the white look of winter.
Enjoy the beauty that surrounds you (#etbtsy)!
