The suspense always actually starts even before arriving at the park. Already from the distance I watch the sky and try to guess what the morning is going to bring. I watch for patches of fog all along the way trying to confirm the conditions might just be right. Then, as I pass through the park gate my eyes are glued on the gorge ahead. Is there going to be a fog this morning? Is there going to be enough? Is it going to be low enough? What is the sun going to do? And there is only one way to tell. Park, walk up to find that morning's perfect spot, and wait and enjoy!
