I missed the black and white Thursday so here's a treat to make up for it. Today's photos are not only black and white and shot on film, but they are traditional darkroom prints captured on infrared film!

You can see some of the signature features of infrared light in these photos: dark skies and bright, almost white, foliage. The day was great because one needs a lot of sunshine to supply the infrared light.

The foliage in the second photo of the old overgrown railroad bridge was on infrared fire! As you can see, it lit up like a million light bulbs. What a treat!
