Asahi Pentax Spotmatic FVintage 35mm Film Camera Unlike the previous Spotmatic SP stroll, this one was with a black Spotmatic F. An opportunity presented itself to buy one and since I did not have one in black and not the F, I went for it. After a thorough clean up, it looks great and works like a champ. This walk was to test it out and see,

Overall, I am a huge fan of this size category of 35mm cameras, whether the Pentax Spotmatics, or the Nikon FE and FM line of cameras.

Another new experience on this walk was the Ilford XP2 black and white film. While it is a black and white film it develops in C-41 color chemistry. I had never used it before. It seemed strange to opt for a C-41 film for black and white. However, a local seller was ending their film photography and had a few rolls available at a discount so why not? And I will be returning to the film, the results from this walk were very pleasing.

This time, I took my photographs backwards. I usually start as I walk north towards the village, through the village, and around Green Lake and back home. This time, I made it all the way to the village before I turned the camera on. I can't remember if this was intentional for a change of pace or if inspiration took a while to strike.
