Previously from Lake Mead and the Valley of Fire: Road Trip through Mars - Road through Fiery Wonders - Out of This World - Further Out of This World - Driving through Painted Mojave DesertValley of Fire in a Painting

A different type of a photograph from the Valley of Fire today. It's a frame filling photo of a tree set against the red rocks of the valley. All that in beautiful subtle colors and in perspective that makes it look like the tree is painted on the cliff wall. At least that was my imagination when looking at the tree and still is now looking at the photo. I can actually get lost this photo and imagine even more abstract subjects, like a birds-eye-view of a river branching out across a landscape.
