Just a few posts back I shared my captivation with the trees living at the edge of Niagara Falls with you. For the post I selected a photograph that showed a little bit of the frozen river bank at the trees in the mist in the background. Then later, I was selecting photographs for a photo contest with a theme of minimalism and I liked a different take on the Niagara River scene. After coming back to both photographs I now like that simpler one with less context better. I feel it is moodier and better captures what it felt like standing on the river bank staring into the frigid mist floating over the rapids and obscuring the trees.
