Spring! ... came to Buffalo and Western New York

A happy spring day in Emery Park with trees boasting their new foliage. South Wales, East Aurora, Buffalo, New York (NY).Spring Day at Emery Park Emery Park, same place as where I have recently completed my Seasons project. However, a different alley here. This one is on the southern side of the park, narrower, and a bit more rugged looking. This alley has deciduous trees lining both side of the road and as it rises up hill it provides a different perspective. The fresh new leaves' yellow color stands out nicely and along with the green grass and blue sky screams Spring!

Fall is definitely a great season full of color. And everybody knows it. Spring however is quite underrated in my opinion. Going from the bare and gray looks of winter spring provides quite a splash of color, and as you can see here, it is not all just green. There are many shades of green and yellow popping up everywhere along with additional color variety of wildflowers.

Enjoy the lush outdoors!
