Back Under, Buffalo Metro Rail

Amherst Station Corridor, Buffalo NFTA Metro Rail Subway.Amherst Station CorridorBuffalo Metro Rail

Back to my underground exploration and photography from a few months ago, this time focused on symmetry and converging lines. What caught my eye was both the left to right symmetry, and the lack of it top down. A lot of subway tunnels are round whereas this corridor is rectangular. It runs across the underground Amherst Station of Buffalo NFTA Metro Rail and connects the inbound and outbound tracks.

Have fun, high up, deep down, or with your feet firmly on the ground!
