Alright, I will be brave and say it. Here's my annual farewell to winter and cheers to spring. May the grayness rest in piece for a bit and may colors rule for a few months. To spring!

And to add to the romantic feeling I'd like to share some lush photographs from the Murder Creek itself. At first, it was definitely the waterfall drawing me to that park but over the years, I have grown really fond of the creek itself. Just take a look, the rushing water, the rocks, the moss, the surrounding woods. What a wonderful place to celebrate nature coming back to life.

I feel like this is the best place near and far to observe spring coming. The greens are so intense here and the rushing water of the creek makes them stand out even more. Just sit on one of the many rocks along the banks, stare into the water, listen, and let your mind leave the hustle and bustle of the real world and disappear in the scene.
